Organic foods have many benefits. Choosing organic foods can help us reduce exposure to chemicals that can disrupt the body’s natural cycles. Organic vegetables and fruits contain fewer toxic residues, such as herbicides and pesticides, and fewer heavy metals, like aluminum, mercury and lead.

However, organic products tend to be more expensive. Therefore, many people can’t buy everything organic. The following list, made by the Environmental Working Group (EWG); tells you which fruits and vegetables contain the most chemicals and pesticides, and which are the least contaminated. Use this list to choose your groceries, so that you know what products should be organic because they are more contaminated.
