Hello! I am Claudia Calle. I am 31 years old and I live in Lima, Peru. I am a civil engineer, yoga teacher and Health Coach. I am the founder of Bodhilab and the Bodhi methodology.
My journey in the search for a healthy life began in the United States, when I missed a bus and this led me to meet two great people, who would become great friends. They say that there are no coincidences and that everything happens for a reason and this, definetely happened for a reason. They had been practicing yoga for a long time and when they visited Peru, in 2012, they told me to go to a yoga class with them. I tried Power yoga and I fell in love with it.
Practicing yoga I discovered that it helped me calm down and manage stress in a better way. It helped me focus on myself and seek to feel better. I started looking for a healthier life and began focusing on my diet.
In 2016 I became a yoga teacher to share what had done so much good to me.
Along the way, I realized that the way one eats is closely related to the lifestyle one leads. Stress, anxiety, working in a job we don’t like, unhealthy relationships, among other things, are closely related to the way we eat and the way we feel.
So, after giving it a lot of thought, I decided to study Health Coaching in the Institute for Integrative Nutrition in New York. To continue learning, to find my own balance and well-being. So that I can help many people fulfill their health goals, find their own balance and well-being, and live a healthier and happier life.
I don’t believe in diets. I believe in a healthy, balanced way of eating that can be sustained over time. I believe that physical activity and lifestyle are essential for a healthy life. I believe in changing habits. The idea is to feel good, be happy, seek our own balance, and physical, emotional and mental well-being. The idea is to become our best selves.
